Billy Zane, Demi More, and other artists will participate in the American Pavilion Programming at Cannes 2024!
The International Film Festival has made available information on the twenty-five panels, screenings, and talks that are scheduled for this year’s schedule. Starting on Wednesday, May 15, the event will run until Thursday, May 23. Prominent television programs in the Pavilion, Industry In Focus and In Conversation, will have renowned stars of Hollywood come to express their perspectives.
Who will participate in the Cannes 2024 American Pavilion programs?
Actress Demi Moore, who is a multi-hyphenated person, will be on a panel discussion for the In Conversation series. Billy Zane, who starred in the Titanic, Frederick Wiseman, a documentarian, and five American filmmakers who are participating at the festival will join Moore in the discussion.
The Industry in Focus series will document interviews with notable executives, producers, sales representatives, casting directors, CEOs, and journalists in the meantime. This panel will cover a comprehensive perspective of the industry, addressing a wide range of topics such as sales, marketing, PR, marketplace analysis, and the Ukrainian film industry.
Julie Sisk, the president and creator of the American Pavilion, gave Hollywood reporters an update on the highly anticipated star-studded panel discussions. She stated, “The American Pavilion is thrilled to welcome a varied and creative group of artists and executives as they discuss every facet of the film industry.”
Events at American Pavilion include a house party and other things.
A two-day summit and house party will be held at the American Pavillion to highlight the variety and fresh perspectives in the film industry. Gold House will commemorate women-empowering films and purpose-driven filmmaking with a series of panel discussions featuring Hollywood’s female trailblazers among them.
Chaz Ebert’s latest book, “It’s Time to Give a FECK: Elevating Humanity through Forgiveness, Empathy, Compassion, and Kindness,” will also be signed during the event. Festival and March badge holders are welcome to attend the LGBTQ dance party on May 21st, which is part of the Queer Night program.
Screenings from the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase and a karaoke night organized by SAGIndie for badge holders and event organizers will round off the two-week event.
