She has been a part of the well-known girl group BlackPink, managed by YG Entertainment, since August 2016.

She was given the Korean name Park Chae-young and was born Roseanne Park in Auckland, New Zealand. She was raised in Melbourne, Australia.
Rosé was already passionate with singing as a young youngster. She sang in the choir at her Australian church. She hurriedly traveled from Melbourne to Sydney, She found out that YG Entertainment was hosting auditions in Australia in 2012.
